Knowledge Network continues digitally
CPC coordinates the knowledge platform of Campus Woudhuis. The network continues on-line and has identified the themes for which joint research is being initiated.
One of these themes is the different values of work.
What significance does work have, apart from its economic value? It fits in with the thinking of the parallel labor market and starting basic jobs of Prof. Ton Wilthagen and the Startfoundation.
The work of people with disabilities is often judged solely from a productive, economic value. For a number of people, paid work is not or hardly possible in our current economic system. Yet, they also have a lot to add for colleagues, the goals of our organizations and society.
On campus we discover many other values of work, and of course the corona crisis means that we all feel the value of work even more in our lives than just putting bread on the table. A theme that can sometimes become much broader.
